About the Journal

The Journal of Advances in Humanities Research (JADHUR) is an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to promoting critical and interdisciplinary research at the intersection of the humanities and contemporary social sciences. It publishes original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and conceptual case studies that make significant contributions to theory, policy, and practice worldwide. JADHUR particularly prioritizes innovative research at the intersections of the digital humanities, human–AI interaction, and the evolving dynamics between technology and society.

Aims & Scope

JADHUR provides an international platform for research in humanities and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, and applied studies that advance knowledge, address contemporary societal challenges, and explore emerging areas such as digital humanities, human–AI interaction, and technology and society.

Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Anthropology, Sociology, History, Education, International Relations, Law, Linguistics, Literature, Political Science, Gender Studies, Human Geography, Development Studies, Criminology, Social Psychology, Digital Humanities, Human–AI Interaction, Technology and Society, Media and Communication Studies, and Artificial Intelligence in Social Contexts.

JADHUR publishes quarterly issues. Accepted articles are published online promptly after acceptance and are assigned a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
